1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2: The same was in the beginning with God.
3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

     What does this tell us? Well, it tells ME that #1, God has always existed. #2, that God IS His Word. God cannot be separated from His Word, or His Word from Him. They are one and the same. Which also tells me that if God is true, His Word is true, and conversly, if God's Word is NOT true, then neither is God. ("wow, that's pretty BOLD!) Yes, it is. Do you interpret it differently?

     If you are seeking the God of the Bible, are you seeking a God that can err? A God that makes mistakes? Either God is and was, and is still as true as He ever was, or He is not God after all. And if He is not God, nothing else matters, does it? We can go do as we please. Either the God of absolute truth and justice IS God, or He is NOT God. There is absolutely no point in seeking, or in serving Him otherwise.

     I would assume, as far into the site as this section is, that you have already made your choice as to the God of the universe by now. And if you have, welcome. If you have NOT, who in heaven and earth did you think this site was all about?? It's not about some wishy-washy god that can be controlled by or conformed to the image of mortal man. Such a god would be no god at all, but a man-made puppet.

     If this is the God you follow, or seek, you have taken a turn into truth, but not one you may be ready for. The God referred to herein created everything with simply His spoken Word and His Spirit. He is not controlled by, or subject to the whims of humans, His created creatures. Nor is He concerned about, surprised by, or in the least endangered by any threats or lies being spread by His enemy, Satan.

     Satan? You means he is real?? Oh, yes, my friends, brothers and sisters. He is very real, and very active. Especially now, since he is almost out of time. Kinda makes you want to send him a copy of the Bible, so he could read the back of it and see how it ends, doesn't it? Hey, I said ALMOST. Personally, I have no sympathy for him. He, remember (or read) had no temptation to overcome. He was in the presence of God Almighty, he already knew perfect love, he had no tempter but his own pride.
